I am Sitting in Josefov

A series of Polaroid photographs inspired by American artist Alvin Lucier’s 1960s performance titled I am Sitting in a Room,
in which he recorded the sound of a given room, played back the recording, re-recorded it, and repeated this process over
and over until the sound was reduced to pure noise. In my interpretation, I used the most significant object of the
Josefov Fortress — a brick, which I photographed, printed, photographed the print, and repeated this process eight
times until the image was reduced to an unidentifiable form.
